The Wife and I were unpacking the bathroom a week or so after we had moved here. Our bathroom is huge, it could easily accomodate 8 standing people with no one even in the tub. Which is nice, I guess, if for some reason 8 people needed to go in there at once. We were chatting and moving things around to where they might stay long term.
The bathroom window looks directly into the apartments next to us. We have a clear view of the bottom apartment and a good view of the second floor aparment as well. While we were rummaging through boxes I noticed 3 cars, nondescript, pull up and park in the street. No hazards or anything, just pulled up and stopped. They sat there a moment and I pointed it out to the wife.
Intrigued we watched 4 men in dark suits with dark glasses and ear pieces emerge from each car. Five men went to the front door and five around to the back. 2 men stood out with the cars but kept their eyes on the building in front of them. The front door was opened and the back. As we watched the men searched the apartment with weapons drawn. They found no one inside and didn't seem to find anything they wanted. They all came out at the same time and grouped together with the two men who had waited outside.
There was much discussion and pointing at the aparment they had just left. Papers were pulled out of pockets and checked and re-checked. They looked back at the building and back at each other.
They all got in their cars and left.
Hope they had the right house.
Do you think if we used the tub we could squeeze 12 people into the bathroom for a bunco party? It could be fun, although we'd have to make friends with your neighbors in case anyone had to pee.
